Young, Free and Pacific
Affirming Works is a Pacific-led, faith-based organisation dedicated to mentoring and educational services for young Pacific peoples, alongside offering community support services across New Zealand. Year 11 to Year 13 students at Wellington High School have been invited to a free two-day annual event in Wellington ‘Young, Free and Pacific’, which celebrates and empowers Pacific youth through workshops, cultural performances, and leadership talks. Aimed at fostering identity, community, and resilience, it’s an invaluable opportunity for engagement in their heritage.

Date for Young Women: Wednesday 26 June 2024
Venue: Massey University, College of Creative Arts Toi Rauwhārangi, Block 1 Te Whare Pukākā, Mount Cook, Wellington.
