PPTA/NZEI Paid Union Meeting
We will be closing at 12.20pm on Tuesday 6 September 2016 for union members from PPTA and NZEI to meet for the purposes of being briefed on the Governments proposed Global Budget funding for schools. There will be supervision available, in the school library, for those students who require it.
Parent Portal Reminder
Please remember to regularly check the parent portal. Your login information has been emailed out to you at regular intervals. If you have misplaced this email, please contact the school at admin@whs.school.nz with your student’s name.
The portal will give you access information about your student’s progress at WHS particularly:
- Attendance – this appears as soon as a student’s attendance is marked in class
- NCEA summary – really useful for you and your student to keep track of NCEA progress
Results (by subject) – containing all standards achieved throughout the year – this will also include missed and not achieved assessment information
Reports – all reports are posted on the portal
Pastoral – items only with a brief description
