The Wrap Up (Term 4, Week 2)
In this week’s Wrap Up you are invited to the Senior Art Exhibition, a chance to view all NCEA Visual Arts submissions for 2023. This week we celebrate NZSD success, an amazing effort from a student in support of Tamatha Paul’s election campaign and we join He Kākano out on the turf.
The Wrap Up (Term 4, Week 1)
This week the Wrap Up hits the red carpet at The Shonas, celebrating the launch of The Flannel and the mahi of our senior Media, Moving Image Culture and Journalism students.
In this weeks’ Wrap Up you can buy a ticket to the Library concert on Monday 16 October, or register your attendance for our senior prize-giving assemblies. Read about achievements in Art and the latest library lunchtime lecture from former student Cadence Chung.

The Wrap Up (Term 3, Weeks 9 & 10)
The final two weeks of term were fast and furious! From EPro8, to political debate, staff vs students sports to our shared dinner for families of refugee and migrant students, not forgetting the return of the Music Evening, there was a lot going on. Catch up on it all in this bumper Wrap Up!
The Wrap Up (Term 3, Week 8)
This week we re-visit OutLoud and follow some of our sports teams on Winter Tournament week. We catch up with the first alumni reunion held in Auckland and celebrate our former students’ successes at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.
The Wrap Up (Term 3, Weeks 5-7)
The Wrap Up is back, and in this mega wrap we share Toi Māori’s kōwhaiwhai inspired sign for Taka Kai the WHS canteen, and share details of the canteen’s Kindo app launch. We celebrate School Library week, share successes in Mathswell, Poetry Aotearoa, Japanese speech and Underwater Hockey, and join in celebrations for musical and sporting successes, both at home and overseas.
The Wrap Up (Term 3, Week 4)
This week the Wrap Up brings stories of success at the national Toi Wearable Art competition, the NZ Cyber Security Challenge and World Scholars Cup. We welcome the new International students who joined us in Term 3 and shout out our support for the Persian Food and Dessert fundraiser taking place at Newtown School today. This week we celebrate success in music, art and sport and look forward to Monday’s Careers Expo and Future Focus evening. We look back at Blank Canvas, celebrate our finalists in the IHC Arts Awards and Smokefree Rock Quest and recognise international selections in U19 Floorball and Dragon Boating.
