The Executive of the Post Primary Teachers’ Association has directed members covered by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA) and the Area School Teachers’ Collective Agreement (ASTCA) to attend a round of regional paid union meetings (PUM) held under the provisions of Section 26 of the Employment Relations Act 2000.
The meeting for PPTA members at Wellington High School will be held on Tuesday 29 November at Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua.
To facilitate the meeting, we are asking families to make alternative arrangements for periods 1 – 3 (8.45am-12.20pm) where possible. Supervision will be available at school for those students whose families are unable to make alternative arrangements. If your student requires supervision during this time please contact Jess McKnight (mtj@whs.school.nz).
Normal timetable will resume at 1.20pm for periods 4 and 5. School buses will run as normal at the end of the day.
Students in He Kākano will continue with their end of year programme.
