What’s Happening?
Guys and Dolls
We are very excited to announce that WHS will be staging a musical in 2025. It’s been 27 years since our kura last produced a big stage school-wide musical, and we are hoping that next year will be the start of a long tradition in the performing arts. Our team will be putting a distinct WHS stamp on the classic 1950s show Guys and Dolls. This production features a diverse range of characters, brilliant songs, and a strong storyline. There are performance opportunities for everyone from Year 9 through to 13, whether you like dancing, singing, comedy, lead roles or character cameos – and there will be a huge backstage and technical team, and an awesome band: something for everyone! The production will be at the end of term two. Auditions are in term one, and open to everyone – more to come next year!
EBIS Extravaganza 2024
EBIS have extended an invitation to ex-pupils who would like to celebrate the schools 60th Anniversary by attending an EBIS Extravaganza event on Thursday 5 December from 5.30-7.30pm. There are opportunities for ex-pupils to participate as judges of the speech aspect of the evening, or as representatives of past years in the formal address at the start of the evening. More information in the flyer EBIS Extravaganza 2024
